    Help The Vet can provide assistance with your VA disability claim by gathering evidence, providing medical evaluations, filing paperwork, and advocating on your behalf to increase your disability rating. We can also help you appeal a decision if your claim is denied.
  • What is the difference between a service-connected disability and a non-service-connected disability?
    A service-connected disability is a disability that was incurred or aggravated during active military service, while a non-service-connected disability is a disability that is not related to military service.
  • How long does it take to get a decision on a VA disability claim?
    The length of time it takes to get a decision on a VA disability claim varies depending on the complexity of the claim and the amount of evidence provided. It can take several months to more than a year to receive a decision.
  • What evidence do I need to support my VA disability claim?
    You need medical evidence to support your VA disability claim, including medical records, doctors' reports, and test results. You may also need to provide evidence of your military service, such as your DD-214 or other service records.
  • How can I increase my VA disability rating?
    You can increase your VA disability rating by providing additional medical evidence to support your claim, appealing a decision if you disagree with it, or requesting a re-evaluation of your disability.
  • Can I appeal a decision if my VA disability claim is denied?
    Yes, you can appeal a decision if your VA disability claim is denied. You have one year from the date of the decision to file an appeal.
  • How much does it cost for Help The Vet help raise your disability rating?
    The cost of Help The Vet to begin helping your increase your rating is $500. If you receive an increase, Help The Vet will receive five times the amount of the percentage increase. For example, if you receive a $1000 increase, then Help The Vet would receive $5000 total, which can be paid either monthly over 10 months or upfront with a 10% discount. Help The Vet does not receive any portion of your back pay.
